Judge in Ferro case is recused

The judge who presided over the Nicholas Ferro murder case that ended last month with a hung jury recused himself Tuesday in the second trial. Whether the recusal means the trial will move to another location remains to be seen.

"Upon consideration of certain matters arising during trial of this case, I have become aware of a potential or possible bias, prejudice or sympath...

Galt is mad because he knows

Galt is mad because he knows his little sissy buddy Ferro is never getting out of jail.

Finally, some Justice!

Audlin's political ambitions are now almost quashed with what he thought to be a race/hate crime that turns out to be self defense against a family he well knows of and a kid that he denied bond on for 2 1/2 years and denied change of venue for. The prosecutor Telfair then misleads the public about the jurys deliberations and actual count of guilty vs manslaughter. Watch for a change of venue, bond grant and a real jury in another area to aquit or convict of a lesser offense quickly. This was a farce from the beginning, even the jury is too afraid to speak out about their own deliberations for fear of retribution. People should start to boycott the Keys for this type of behavior and create a paypal account for the defense of Ferro who just got caught up in the web of the Sharpton/Jackson politcal races. Even a small town like Gainesville was intelligent enough to realize their are more sides to the truth when thugs play the race card. Watch for some real media coverage on this now, "the truth shall set you free". The NY Times and Sun Sentinel are trying aggressively to get interviews with the jury and sooner or later the truth will get out.

He's BAAAAACCKk

Like the creatures from Poltergeist, john galt has crawled out of his West Palm home to bash the people in The Keys. As if all of us are lined up against Ferro. Please do locals a favor and proceed with your boycott. Most of us would love to see fewer people from Mainland Florida down here. You all drive down, rape our local waters, have a few drinks from the cooler you brought with you, and then leave. Imagine how much more peaceful it would be without people from Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County! Please do us all a favor and actually take action instead of posting here. Finally, like most locals, I am interested in the truth coming out and justice being served. Unlike you, I will wait to see what really happened since, like you, I was NOT THERE.

Is Key West now allowing coolers?

Poltergeist was a good movie when we were kiddies, but in the "spirit" of truth and justice, Ferro needs a change of venue and bond to an adult, non biased arena. Also I am from Broward not WPB and at least we only rape your waters, not the tourists.

Judge recuses

Audlin has the backbone of a jellyfish and is terrified of not being re-elected...with good reason, he is the worst judge in the County, no holds barred....

Washing his hands?

Two possibilities: 1) he is washing his hands of a very messy situation which will only make him look bad such as change of venue, acquittal, dismissal of charges. Remember, this is an elected position. 2) following the first trial, he may really think that Ferro is innocent and might affect his judgement.

Judge Audlin

Audlin is a wonderful judge who is no longer hearing criminal cases. I saw the way he has handled this case from the beginning and he was sure to cover all the bases so that the defense could not secure a victory on appeal. If he has any opinion, I am sure it's that this scum is guilty of the crime he is charged with. I don't blame him for recusing himself after seeing the first trial. Ferro will have another trial and I just pray he spends the rest of his life in prison for what he did. He is an arrogant and selfish human being.
