Croce to expand Green Parrot property

Bobalu's Key West, the restaurant next to the Green Parrot Bar, will close at the end of the month and is slated to reopen in the fall under new ownership as a barbecue place.

Pat Croce, who bought two-thirds of the Green Parrot a year ago, plans to buy the adjacent building at 404 Southard St. in June and begin renovations, said Kari Cobham, spokeswoman for Pat Croce Co....

Search out the Smokin' Tuna Bar. That place has really turned it on with great musicians and bands. Down at the corner of Telegraph and Charles. Across the street from the Red Garter Stripclub.

Croce is ruining the Parrot. Credit cards, mojitos, it is ridiculous. I bet a cover charge is coming next. What a tool. Said to see such a great bar get ruined by someone with only commercial interests in mind. This is the end as we know it.

The credit cards were put in before Pat had any money into The GP.

I like the Big Coppitt Bobalus. That space by the Green Parrot doesn't seem charmed.
